So what exactly is a Type & Shadow? A Type is an example of someone or something and a Shadow is a glimpse or a hint of someone or something.
Here’s another way to understand it. Have you ever noticed your own shadow? It moves when you move; it stretches when you stretch. You know it’s your shadow and it kind of looks like your shape, but it’s just a glimpse of you. A faint image of you.
When we read God’s Word and begin to see the Types & Shadows in the Bible and how they point to Jesus, we will gain a better understanding of the Bible and how great our God is.
